NDwas
Just some more tweaks, minus the splash and the "Bonds effect"... Tomorrow's just your future yesterday.

HurricaneDavid
I think this is absolutely hideous. The trajectory on the ball is just laughable. The font is very bland. While AT&T Park is known for the Cove, I don't identify with the viewpoint in this logo because you rarely see the stadium from this angle. They could have done a LOT better. slapshot
By itself, it's a good looking logo, aside from the odd arc of the ball landing in McCovey Cove. It definitely has a retro feel, which is what Michael Schwab is known for, and the minimalistic style and large fields of color definitely make this piece stand apart from the previous few years' worth of MLB All-Star Game logos. But, if you look at this logo compared to the rest of his portfolio, you would see it's very bland and derivative. Most of Schwab's logos rely heavy on silhouetted figures, and the font used is used in almost every one of his logos shown on his website. Sure, it's good to have a style that one is known for. For example, Dan Simon has a knack for producing simplified and somewhat cartoonish logos (not that it's a bad thing). But not all of his logos are done that comically. If you visit his website (http://www.studiosimon.com) you can see that there is a distinct difference between his logos for the Toledo Mudhens and Visalia Oaks than for the Spokane Indians and St. Xavier Tigrs. He is diversified enough that he is not bound to do all his logos in that format. Because it's very boring to do all logos the same way. NDwas
^ Simon's porfolio is just awesome. Lots of Dodger stuff, though. Tomorrow's just your future yesterday.
