beansdooma Posted July 11, 2006 Share Posted July 11, 2006 The first team, tentativley called the "Washington Stars". They orginally had a darker red, but I like the lighter better. I need to know, does it look better with or without the spike on the stripe?The second team is the "Oregon Riptides". I'm having trouble re-working the new jersey. The front just looks awkward to me. Any suggestions for the logo or the jersey would be apreciated.(I apologize for the poor quality. All I have is paint, but I'm looking for a new template to use.) You could trick out the helmet stripe on the primary helmet to look something like the american flag.2) Try to stick to one set of pants if they are all going to be white. You could put a stars and stripe theme on the side if wanted to and it would match if you did the same for the helmet3) Too much striping on the jersey's. Either make your jersey cuff's one color or the side panel's one color. I wouldn't do both in stripes even though that's kind of the theme it would just be too much.4) The logo is missing something. Play with it a bit maybe take out the red inside the fold of the "w" and use it as a shadow or somethingFor the second concept...1) Love the helmet and jersey combo's!2) Add some aqua to the helmet logo but not the facemask I'd keep it white.3) You could get away with a set of blue and silver pant's if you wanted but please don't do aqua it would kill it. Maybe, since your riptides helmet is so cool, you'd be up for a more unique logo placement for the stars... try it with the star in the front of the helmet, with the shapr wings draping down the sides.Might look cool.Nice work on the ammendments. I think that there is alot of potential in your designs, and a little illustrator work can make all the difference. If you would rather not have anyone pick up on your work, just say the word. Anyways, here are two concepts... in one, I dropped the teal altogether, while in the second, it's featured prominently.
