Winnipeg fans will remember this for a loooong time.

So will Edmonton fans, I'm sure.

What? You couldn't have come up with anything more recent? :D

It's been 79 years... :(

[Croatia National Team Manager Slavan] Bilic then went on to explain how Croatia's success can partially be put down to his progressive man-management techniques. "Sometimes I lie in the bed with my players. I go to the room of Vedran Corluka and Luka Modric when I see they have a problem and I lie in bed with them and we talk for 10 minutes." Maybe Capello could try getting through to his players this way too? Although how far he'd get with Joe Cole jumping up and down on the mattress and Rooney demanding to be read his favourite page from The Very Hungry Caterpillar is open to question. --The Guardian's Fiver, 08 September 2008

Luis Gonzales walk of hit

For me this is the most memorable sports play that ive seen in my liftetime and have actualy whatched when it happened. At the time I wasn't really in to baseball but my grandpa who was living in Arizona at the time was visiting and had been watching every single game. I didnt really know the rules to the game and didnt understand somethings but i loved that series. And i went crazy when Luis got the hit.

Mine may be somewhat biased ^_^

Ahhh....the classics

Maybe not a great play, but one of my favorite moments-

After:

Maybe one that's not so biased...well, I guess it is, but it was a great moment:

(We all know Tim Salmon's HR in this game is what made it special :D )

Forgive the Saints' slant, but these were all very memorable for me. I was there for Dempsey's 63-yarder in Tulane Stadium, Nov. 11, 1970:

"It's good! It's good! The Saints have won! The Saints have won!" Pretty exciting for a 9 year-old kid I can tell you.

I was there for this one too. The Saints' first playoff victory, and just 34 years after they entered the NFL! ^_^

"Brian Milne, the most unlikely hero of them all, falls on the fumble, the muff by Hakim. There is a God after all!" Saints radio man Jim Henderson's call was a classic. Go HERE to hear it.

And I saw this one on TV. If you haven't seen it, go to the multimedia section of the Saints website and look for the "River City Relay." It won the ESPY for Best Play of 2004. Unfortunately, there was no OT; following this amazing 75-yard multi-lateral touchdown, there was a very lengthy delay as the play was reviewed and then the Saints missed the *%&$*% extra point!

Darn,you beat me too it.

I still remember watching that play live on TV. It was so amazing; probably the most amazing play I've ever seen while it was actually happening.
