CJR
Just wondering if anyone can help me out. I've been playing around with Illustrator 8.0 and I've got some cool stuff figured out (now I know why so many of you use this), but I'm hung up on something. If I have a raster image that was drawn in Photoshop, is there anyway to somehow import that image into Illustrator with the outline as a vector path? Just wondering. Thanks. CC97
you can save the path in photoshop, can you not?
jefrsn
If it was drawn as a path in photoshop you can export paths to illustrator under the file menu (I think). If no vector paths were created in the photoshop file, you can try using the tracing abilities of photoshop with the magnet to draw paths in the document, save them and then export them. You will need to clean the paths up since they are going to be a little rough, but it is a way to start.
CJR
For future reference for anyone else, I've discovered that Adobe Streamline does it really quickly and easily.
