I wore it to the NFC Championship game though and i got nothing but good comments.

Seattle absolutely NEEDS TO produce these as a third for at least one game a season! (But with the blue pants) It'd be a good way to "inject some serious life" into the bland color world of the NFL (the pre-97 Bucs were the last "bright" team in the league). And anyone who took note of several Seahawks' lime green gloves in the Super Bowl knows that those cats got some life to them. It'd also be a good way for folks who never pay the Seahawks no mind to start paying attention...

If I knew where to find one of those I'd cop it with tha quickness...

I like the idea, but it has to go with the white pants. Having the helmet, jersey, and pants all different colors is much less problematic than this look; it looks like Hasselbeck is wearing one of those quarterback-in-practice-different-colored-don't-hit-me jerseys with the blue helmet and blue pants.

As a die-hard Seattle Seahawks fan since the day they entered the NFL, I can honestly say that I find the idea of a neon-green alternate jersey REVOLTING... regardless of the color of the pants.

Except in rare instances (like the images of the Hawks being shown here) I say that 2 of the 3 (helmet/shirt/pants) should match eachother.

Exceptions in my mind are:

Rams - navy/white/gold

Steelers - black/white/yellow

Jaguars - black/aqua/white

Ravens - black/purple/white

I agree 100%. Thats why teams like the Packers, Raiders, Bucs (when they arent wearing the pewter red white look), 49ers, Saints, Colts, and a few others have terriffic looks.

It would look best if they had an alt helmet for it, white would look best. That's unlikely though.

Or maybe a neon helmet! There's some food for thought. Let's see one of you Photoshop wizards come up with that!
