New York Mets concept

Seeing the Mets' recent Negro League throwbacks reminded me of a concept I made for them, a couple of years ago now. Most notably because of the thick piping. The concept also featured the removal of black altogether, and more of an emphasis given to the orange.

Below is that concept from a couple of years ago, as well as some recolored photos of the Negro Leagues uniforms:

Agreed. That looks about the thickness of the piping on the Braves' jersey adn it needs to be more the thickness of the piping on teh Red Sox home jersey.

Overall, it is a strong concept.

I am not too sure about the orange hat. Maybe for BP, but not in a game.

I really like the orange cap.

Other than the before mentioned piping I like these a lot.

I also really like the orange cap. It's a hell of a lot better than any of the Mets' caps with black in it.

Only problem: it can be confusing for us old-timers who remember the orange Houston Astros cap. But that's minor. Nothing wrong with two teams having orange caps, especially if one team no longer uses the orange caps except in throwback uniforms.
