swilson160
Th Titans numbers seem to have a thin navy outline between the white numbers and the usual columbia blue outline. Is this new? I don't remember seeing it before.
Brian in Boston
The Titans' jerseys just seem to have a thin Navy outline between the White and the Columbia Blue of their numbers. It's an optical illusion. The team has made no changes to the color scheme of the numbers on their uniforms.

DG_ThenNowForever
That Saints patch looks great. I don't see any blue outline. 1 hour ago, ShutUpLutz! said: and the drunken doodoobags jumping off the tops of SUV's/vans/RV's onto tables because, oh yeah, they are drunken drug abusing doodoobags
sacker12
I was just looking at that photo. I think the lighting was causing the illusion of a navy pinline in the numerals. However, you've got my mind spinning now. It also makes me want to see how the Titans would look with the pinline numerals.
JayMack23
Will they be wearing the Red alts at all this season?
swilson160
Copied from the Titans website (they use Shockwave so I can't link to the original, but it's on the front page. That's a navy outline that Travis Henry has right there. And they are advertising the Columbia Blue alts on the Titans' coverage of the game, so I think that puts the kibosh on any red alternate. sacker12
That is not a pinline. That is just a shadow caused by the top layer of white twill on the numerals. If you look at #29, you can see that there is now navy pinline on his numerals.

If you look at #29, you can see that there is now navy pinline on his numerals. If that is a shadow, it appears both above and below the white numerals...now I'm no...uh...light-ologist, but wouldn't a shadow only appear in one direction? Unless there are lights on the field as well. Also, looking at #29, you can tee the pinline near the bottom of the numbers, but not the top because of the way the fabric is slightly bunched.Anyway, someone please watch the game...when they show close-ups of the Titans' players, it becomes obvious. I've seen a few Titans games in my time, and this is new.
doafhat
I'm watching the game on TV right now, and the numbers are still white with a Columbia blue outline. No navy in there at all.
SteveR
If that is a shadow, it appears both above and below the white numerals...now I'm no...uh...light-ologist, but wouldn't a shadow only appear in one direction? That's because the white number is sewn on top of the bigger Columbia blue number, so the shadow falls off in all directions, since lights at an NFL stadium come from all directions. Fred T. Jane
That Saints patch looks great. I don't see any blue outline. 1985 called, they want the bloody poor rendition of the state of Louisiana back. [Croatia National Team Manager Slavan] Bilic then went on to explain how Croatia's success can partially be put down to his progressive man-management techniques. "Sometimes I lie in the bed with my players. I go to the room of Vedran Corluka and Luka Modric when I see they have a problem and I lie in bed with them and we talk for 10 minutes." Maybe Capello could try getting through to his players this way too? Although how far he'd get with Joe Cole jumping up and down on the mattress and Rooney demanding to be read his favourite page from The Very Hungry Caterpillar is open to question. --The Guardian's Fiver, 08 September 2008 Attention: In order to obtain maximum enjoyment from your stay at the CCSLC, the reader is advised that the above post may contain large amounts of sarcasm, dry humour, or statements which should not be taken in any true sort of seriousness. KDubK414
Well that pretty much ends this discussion. My words EXACTLY!!! Good times Epper!KyleThough to be fair, the Titans are my AFC team with the Packers being MY team. And that woulda been cool. I like what the shadowing created, maybe a possible future number/name design on uniforms.
