Ed Hearn looks like he ate the team. He must have put on about 100 ounds since '86. Bobby Ojeda has a terrible rug on his head.

Ed hearn has had some serious medical problems including, I believe, 2 kidney transplants. he is lucky to be alive; give him a break.

It also looked like they were wearing the 25th anniversary of the Mets patch that the team wore then.

It's actually a modified 20th anniversary of the 86 team patch that resembled the 25th anniversary patch. Instead of saying 1962-1986 it said 1986-2006

They did make up a 1986-2006 logo for the celebration; but the jerseys have the 1986 patch on them that says 1962-1986 25th Anniversary.

Very nice uniforms but am I the only one who noticed they wore black shoes and belts which they did not do in '86. They wore blue shoes and belts. Otherwise it was a nice blast from the past.

i think these would make a great sunday uni. Also they look very sharp with high socks as orlando hernandez wore. I wish i was in the city this weekend, I would have loved to go to the saturday game.

Man, some of those guys look pretty natural in the racing stripes. Lastings Milledge in particular.
