Therefore, the service provided by eBay is distinct from a conventional, "brick-and-mortar" auction house. Which was recognized in the entry's conversion of eBay into a pawn brokerage.By contrast, the Maersk ad in this competition promoted Maersk Line commercial shipping services... an entity and service that existed well in advance of 1995.That said, you are correct about eBay having been founded in 1995.
