Davey
Great the Mets already have an outstanding team, then they add Green. They are going to be hard to beat. Good choice for the mets, sucks for the braves...
FiddySicks
My question is, whats the point? why not try to add pitching? On 11/19/2012 at 7:23 PM, oldschoolvikings said: She’s still half convinced “Chris Creamer” is a porn site.)
Tazz013
My question is, whats the point? why not try to add pitching? With Cliff Floyd out for a while, they don't have a player worthy of playing right field. Save the slugalo.
NJTank
Oy is he gonna be loved at Shea if he does good. The Mets have a hug Jewish fan base I see them whenever I go to the game. It seems that the Yankees have some reason never taped that Jewish community but the Mets certainley have. www.sportsecyclopedia.com For the best in sports history go to the Sports E-Cyclopedia at http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com
VandyDelphia Mike
Had the Rowand/Utley collision happened earlier than last night, there's no way the Phillies would allow Shawn Green to slip by waivers. Okay, maybe they would have when it looked like they were in pure sell mode. But when Gillick starts dealing for such spring chickens as Jamie Moyer and Jose Hernandez ... it looks more like Gillick owes it to his players for putting up the effort to not totally fade from the WC race, especially in the oh-so-mediocre NL.Any word on what Arizona's getting in return? NDwas
Great pickup for the Mets, but something else interests me:What number will Mr. Green wear for the Mets? He's always worn number 15, but Beltran has it now and definitely won't give it up. Fred T. Jane
7, 10, 40, or 50 (You've got to be really good to get these) [Croatia National Team Manager Slavan] Bilic then went on to explain how Croatia's success can partially be put down to his progressive man-management techniques. "Sometimes I lie in the bed with my players. I go to the room of Vedran Corluka and Luka Modric when I see they have a problem and I lie in bed with them and we talk for 10 minutes." Maybe Capello could try getting through to his players this way too? Fred T. Jane
I could care less which role players have those numbers, I want to know why Shawn Green would desire those numbers... Pop Quiz time! Clear your desks, and I only want to see a clean sheet of paper, a writing utensil, and your two hands on the top of the desk. To head off any stupid questions (1) As long as it's not a shade of red, you can use whatever colour ink you want (2) Yes, you must write the questions down on your paper (3) Yes, this quiz will count (4) No, you can not work in groups on this quiz.Oh, sorry folks. Got a bit carried away there. [Croatia National Team Manager Slavan] Bilic then went on to explain how Croatia's success can partially be put down to his progressive man-management techniques.
