theone28 Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 I know many of you have heard about the 720 dunk before but my question is can this possibly be the best dunk of all time? Or is someone dunking over a 7'2 guy better?
Shumway Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 After watching the video, the 720 is just downright insane.I still am a huge fan of the Vince Carter windmill reverse 360, but this one just might be betterFor reference:The 720Vince Carter...it's the 4th(I think) one in the video
See Red Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 It's not really a 720 because he starts out facing one way, and finishes facing the other . However, minor nitpick aside... that is insane right there.

Actually, when he takes off, he's facing away from the camera, when he dunks the ball, NOT LANDS, he's facing towards the camera, so technically it's a 720. MLB, NBA, NFL & NHL Font Packs

A 360 would be a complete revolution from liftoff to slam. Whatever happens after that is inconsequential. So technically, it's more of a 540 than anything. Good point, I failed to realize that a 720 is two 360's. My brain is running on fumes right now. So that means technically that dunk is a 540 because it's from take off to dunk, not where he lands, because he is still spinning after dunking the ball. MLB, NBA, NFL & NHL Font Packs
