Nice how the Superdome logo incorporates a pelican. After Katrina they might want to rethink that water in the foreground.

What is the gillette stadium logo supposed to be?

it's a stylized version of the bridge and lighthouse located at the end of the stadium which in turn represents all the bridges and lighthouses located throughout the New England region

Because of the water? I think you guys are being overly sensitive.

Well its a bit dated too, and with a renovation I think its approriate to come out with a newer better logo

There's a Shea Stadium logo on Chris' site here:

Shea Logo

but I haven't seen it used anywhere in years. I remember seeing it on the 1993 Mets' Opening Day program (the Rockies' first ever game, which is why I remember it), but I can't recall it being used anywhere else.

The Nassau Coliseum also has a logo:

Nassau Coliseum

I don't see what it's supposed to be, though. If memory serves, there was on older version that looked like a lower-case n inside a C.

"New" Soldier Field's logo:

(If you can't makt it out, it reads "Stadium in a Park" below Soldier Field)

They should change it to read "Spaceship in a Monument".

There ya go. They use different versions for different events, but this is more or less it. It comes from the Arrowhead 25th anniversary package from a few years back, and that's been the logo ever since.

I've decided to give up hope for all sports teams I follow
