Lumbergh Posted September 3, 2006 Posted September 3, 2006 It's kinda ugly. Is this Rickabaugh? If it is, it's not their best, but I guess it's a step up from TTU's previous logo.
NJTank Posted September 3, 2006 Posted September 3, 2006 Its not that bad Ive seen worse www.sportsecyclopedia.com For the best in sports history go to the Sports E-Cyclopedia at http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com

DEAD! Posted September 3, 2006 Posted September 3, 2006 I personally like this one the best out of all of them... I saw, I came, I left.
slapshot Posted September 3, 2006 Posted September 3, 2006 Awfully long neck for an eagle, isn't it? Back-to-Back Fatal Forty Champion 2015 & 2016
JQK Posted September 3, 2006 Posted September 3, 2006 I personally like this one the best out of all of them... Awfully close to "Titty U" Stay Tuned Sports Podcast
ManCalledAmp Posted September 3, 2006 Posted September 3, 2006 Personally, I like this one. The crest's burst imagery also looks like spread wings. Would make better sense for a phoenix, but still...it's a cool effect, and a decent replacement for the timeless and classic interlocking TTU logo.Although the more I look at it, the more it makes me think of Tennessee-Martin's Skyhawks logo. Interesting. Go Gators. Go Blue Raiders. Go Commodores. Go USC Trojans.Preds & Avs. Braves, Rays, & Dodgers. Titans, Colts, Broncos, Cardinals. Grizzlies. 14ers, Jam. Team Spirit + Laziness = Yay.
whitedawg22 Posted September 3, 2006 Posted September 3, 2006 Talk about an overabundance of logo variations... secondary and tertiary logos are fine, but this is ridiculous. oh ,my god ,i strong recommend you to have a visit on the website ,or if i'm the president ,i would have an barceque with the anthor of the articel .
otherwilds Posted September 3, 2006 Posted September 3, 2006 Saw highlights of their game against Chattanooga ...purple jerseys and helmets with black pants...ugly
fonz Posted September 3, 2006 Posted September 3, 2006 Talk about an overabundance of logo variations... secondary and tertiary logos are fine, but this is ridiculous. You're right. Way too many logos. When creating a new identity, a team should focus on one maybe two logos. This many just weakens the brand.
Cyclopsis Joe Posted September 4, 2006 Posted September 4, 2006 Saw highlights of their game against Chattanooga ...purple jerseys and helmets with black pants...ugly *imagines what Purple on black looks like*Yuck! I don't speak for democrats, democrats don't speak for me.
Fred T. Jane Posted September 4, 2006 Posted September 4, 2006 http://www.ttusports.com/images/stories/20...U_Crest_WEB.jpgThat is not an eagle. It's a Griffon...with a horse's body rather than the standard lion's body.Thee bidding process to name that creature starts... now. [Croatia National Team Manager Slavan] Bilic then went on to explain how Croatia's success can partially be put down to his progressive man-management techniques. "Sometimes I lie in the bed with my players. I go to the room of Vedran Corluka and Luka Modric when I see they have a problem and I lie in bed with them and we talk for 10 minutes." Maybe Capello could try getting through to his players this way too? Although how far he'd get with Joe Cole jumping up and down on the mattress and Rooney demanding to be read his favourite page from The Very Hungry Caterpillar is open to question. --The Guardian's Fiver, 08 September 2008 Attention: In order to obtain maximum enjoyment from your stay at the CCSLC, the reader is advised that the above post may contain large amounts of sarcasm, dry humour, or statements which should not be taken in any true sort of seriousness. Lumbergh Posted September 4, 2006 Posted September 4, 2006 this must be Rickabaugh, because the trade mark icon is outlined in the yellow outline of the creature. I hate that. Is it me, or are their logos starting to look worse and worse?
Tazz013 Posted September 4, 2006 Posted September 4, 2006 this must be Rickabaugh, because the trade mark icon is outlined in the yellow outline of the creature. I hate that. That's the first thing that cought my eye, too. I hate it too, not only because it looks bad, but it's also impropper usage of the symbol. The TM stmbol should be placed next to your work, not in it somewhere. Save the slugalo.
