Breakwood Posted September 8, 2006 Posted September 8, 2006 Toronto FC signed their first player today, and on the Toronto Star website he's holding a possible jersey.
officeglenn Posted September 8, 2006 Posted September 8, 2006 That's certainly different from all the Adidas templates that are out there now. If I had to guess, I'd have to say it might be a training top.EDIT: That is Jim Brennan! Yay!
Gothamite Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 Did they sign Bruce Wayne? The Green Bay Packers Uniform Database! Now in a handy blog.
gosioux76 Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 Did they sign Bruce Wayne? I think they also hired Ricky Gervais as coach.

Pardon?Anyway, if this is the jersey, then I'm a very happy FC fan. PotD 26/2/12 1/7/15 2020 BASS Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal Regular Season Champion 2021 BASS NFL Pick'em Regular Season Champion

Brian in Boston Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 I'd be willing to bet that the jersey featured in the photo is nothing more than a training top. If it were Toronto FC's actual kit, it would have been unveiled with much fanfare.
zjac7 Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 Not a bad look, that would be a kick-@$$ training top...I wonder if maybe that's an indication of some kind of "reverse Ajax" look for Toronto. There are so many red teams in MLS now, it's going to be hard for them to come up with a unique look, but that wouldn't be a bad idea...Edit: On second look, that wouldn't be just a kick-@$$ practice top, but a pretty kick-@$$ game shirt as well!
gosioux76 Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 Orange? Ew. I'm pretty sure that's red.
IceCap Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 Orange? Ew. I'm pretty sure that's red. Yeah, it's red. The lighting makes it look orange. Look at the Toronto FC logos in teh background. We know for a fact that's red in those logos, but the look orange in the lighting. Include Toronto and Salt Lake City....move LA to Carson!?! Move SJ to Houston? Where'd this league go? Why not add another team in New Jersey....oh wait!!
-kj Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 Um, Carson is suburban LA. It wasn't exactly a long move. Buy some t-shirts and stuff at KJ Shop!
