Brian in Boston
The Arena Football League's Las Vegas Gladiators have unveiled a new uniform design for the upcoming season. According to a friend of mine who lives in Vegas and saw a report on TV, the breakdown is as follows:Pants - The Gladiators have replaced their metallic silver, striped pants with solid black pants for both home and away games.Home Jerseys - The Gladiators solid red jerseys have been replaced by red jerseys featuring a black "Denver Broncos-style" side insert. Collar and cuffs are black. Numbers are white (with what appears to be a thin black outline), rendered in a new, "ancient Roman-esque" font. The team's logo, which is unchanged, is on both sleeves.Road Jerseys - The Gladiators solid white jerseys have been replaced by white jerseys featuring a red "Denver Broncos-style" side insert. Collar and cuffs are red. Numbers are red (with what appears to be a thin black outline), rendered in a new, "ancient Roman-esque" font. The team's logo is on both sleeves.Helmets - No change. The manufacturer of the uniforms is SFC USA, Inc. They're a Las Vegas-based apparel company. My buddy siad that he'd keep me abreast of any other news, so I'll pass it along as it comes to me.Brian in Boston

KCScout76
I have girls (8th graders) on my football team I coach here at Raytown South. I have to use knee pads under the chest part of the shoulder pad chest platesl - some of the more busty girls have a problem adjusting. Sometimes we have to go with a larger size shldr pad to compensate. There are shoulder pads made for women. A brand I knew was called turtle shells - I have not seen them in a while. yh
Sheesh, if they wanted to be original and authentic to the gladiator theme, they should have gone with Roman numerals! Can you imagine some skinny WR trying to wear 88?

Reaper98
Nothing like getting Vegas hookers to showcase your new uniforms...They don't look like hookers to me. Aside from the bare midriff the women are tastefully dressed. Sounds like you have a problem differentiating between prostitutes and real women. slapshot
If they wanted to go with a nice Roman-era type font, why didn't they go with Trajan (the font of choice for most Hollywood movie posters)? The font they use now reminds me of those old Davey & Goliath cartoons.....Davey...you've got to shoot them all.......Shut up Goliath....
ChicoStater
Personally, I think with the exception that the striping on the white jerseys are red and not black, those suckers scream San Francisco Demons.
