Tribein05 Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 I stumbled upon these hats on LIDS. I thought at 1st they were just fashion caps, maybe even alternates. But I looked at every other team and and for the most part, they used their primary logos, along with colors not too drastic from thier current sets. Who knows, maybe theyre switching in 07?
LMU Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 They're just throwbacks, most likely to be worn on the sideline when they do in fact wear the throwback uniforms.
Moser316 Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 That Chargers hat would look so much better in royal blue. I know they're not going to do it because it matches with the powder-puff throwbacks, but it'd still be cool.
SabreGuy Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 Being in Buffalo, I can vouch for the fact that the Buffalo one is just the regular stretch/mesh-back design, using the throwback logo from the alt helmet. Tribein05 Posted September 22, 2006 Author Posted September 22, 2006 Yeah, these were my thoughts exactly. I just wonder why more teams didnt go the same route, its just kind of ironic that the two teams that are being most talked about changing their uniform schemes are the only two teams that dont have primary colors and logos on the hats.

In the actual stores, they sell both. The full-time logo/colors, and the retro logo/colors.As much as I like the retro, the full-time modern version of that hat looks MUCH better. winters in buffalo Posted September 23, 2006 Posted September 23, 2006 If I can find a Bills hat like that in solid instead of mesh, I'd be thrilled.

DGivens87 Posted September 23, 2006 Posted September 23, 2006 I actually saw the silver alternate Pats version of the 06 Draft Day cap at Dick's today, and boy is it ugly. The in-store lighting made it look like it was beige from certain angles. Just another reason why the silver Pats ensamble needs to be given the boot. A large cheese pizza, just for me.New England's source for soccer newsAnd hey, I made it to ESPN!

Krona Posted September 23, 2006 Posted September 23, 2006 maybe im just slow, but is the "H" in chargers supposed to be the old style goalposts? if not, wht else would it be yellow?
