Nesi427 Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 I was thinking of changing my design studio identity and wanted to get feedback on this design, it's just the color, b/w, and gray of the logo, not three seperate designs.C&C appriciated FANTASY SPORTS: UBA (NBA): New York Scrapers | CL (MLB): St Pete Beach Clippers
steiny_ramone Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 Bullseye! facespace?http://www.myspace.com/seancalcottmusic http://www.myspace.com/forgottentoys
McCall Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 They are all awesome, but I'm kinda partial too the last one, black and graphite. Looks kinda sleek, so to speak. Maybe lighten the shade of the bullseye on that one and you've got it. https://dribbble.com/MakaioCall
eRay Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 i think the placement of the bullseye in relation to the wordmark should always stay the same, like focus on one letter or something everytime, not move around.
quantum Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 The glare really doesn't work. It just doesn't look realistic enough. The ndesign gets lost in the b&w version. The color logo looks good otherwise. "One of my concerns is shysters show up and take advantage of people's good will and generosity".
Nesi427 Posted September 25, 2006 Author Posted September 25, 2006 I have another version in the works, hopefully it will be better... FANTASY SPORTS: UBA (NBA): New York Scrapers | CL (MLB): St Pete Beach Clippers
Nesi427 Posted September 25, 2006 Author Posted September 25, 2006 Version 2: FANTASY SPORTS: UBA (NBA): New York Scrapers | CL (MLB): St Pete Beach Clippers
mctitan53 Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 Version 2... definitely. Very nice and sleek design.
SportsLogo Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 Your second version is really good. Great way of incorporating the secondary and primary.
tBBP Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 As far as the look and feel of it, it looks VERY good. Anything in color that can be done in black&white and look just as good if not better is DEFINITELY a winner. Now, my only thing about the name, should this idea be further developed, is potential confusion/pending lawsuit with the Adobe program of the same name (InDesign is Adobe's name). But all that's purely (way too) hypothetical at this point.Either way it goes...EXCELLENT WORK! *Disclaimer: I am not an authoritative expert on stuff...I just do a lot of reading and research and keep in close connect with a bunch of people who are authoritative experts on stuff. || dribbble || Behance ||
JamieRose Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 i'm liking the newest set. its simple and the colors and fonts speak to me for some reason..very nice.the [nds] on the first sets instantly made me think of Nintendo DS My Site | Dribbble
quantum Posted September 26, 2006 Posted September 26, 2006 Version 2 looks good. "One of my concerns is shysters show up and take advantage of people's good will and generosity".
Nesi427 Posted September 26, 2006 Author Posted September 26, 2006 Thanks for the all the positive feedback! The new identity has made its way into my avatar and will next debut on a new website for NDesign Studios.Any further comments are welcome!
