seattlefan68 Posted October 11, 2006 Posted October 11, 2006 Yay, let's all do the opposite of what the Sonics did and copy the Suns (among others).
HowBoutThemFins Posted October 11, 2006 Posted October 11, 2006 i just saw highlights of the cavs' preseason game and i confirm reports that the court is infact FUGLY. the colors dont quite mix well and the full logo isnt even at half court. just the cas script. mega crap
powersurge Posted October 11, 2006 Posted October 11, 2006 I thought that they would bleach the area within the three point arc.holy shi....
SabreGuy Posted October 11, 2006 Posted October 11, 2006 Eh, I still like it. "You could put an empty orange helmet on the 50-yard line at Cleveland Browns Stadium and 50,000 fans would show up to stare at it."-Terry Pluto
saturn93 Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 Agreed...Also, they should one of the "Quicken Loans Arenas" to the bench side of the court (farther side from camera view). Having the two "Quicken Loan Arenas" on the same side of the court is stupid-looking. I saw that last year with the old court.

BCBoy Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 I've always been a fan of this sorta look because well, it's different, not just the standard look...it's a good change.
The_Admiral Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 I've always been a fan of this sorta look because well, it's different, not just the standard look...it's a good change. It becomes less different each time, though, and it's not a good look. Paint your courts. So much for team colors. Also, the term "points in the paint" is making less and less sense since NOBODY IS PUTTING PAINT THERE ♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫
FiddySicks Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 Also, the term "points in the paint" is making less and less sense since NOBODY IS PUTTING PAINT THEREMaybe they should change the term to points in the stain. Or they could also say "Points in the lane" or "Points in the key" The lane no longer resembles a key-hole but it is still commonly referred to as the key.I like lest paint out there. The stain is getting more normal but still kinda cool.My biggest complaint is the wordmark in the center of the court seems too spartan.
