In a recent issue of The Hockey News (the one with Gordie Howe on the cover) there is a reader poll that ask who should play Howe.

27% say Jeremy Roenick

20% say Dennis Quaid

19% say Woody Harrelson

14% say Tim Robbins

10% say Kevin Costner

10% say Tom Hanks

also from what I remember in a small section in Sports Illustrated they mention that Woody Harrelson is the front runner for the job.
