See Red
I love TD as much as the next guy, and I think just based on the best years he was dominant he should get consideration, but I also think that what the Denver Broncos have been able to do with Running Backs since Davis pretty much takes any doubt out of my mind that he's definetely not a Hall of Famer. He sure was fun to watch, though. Had his career gone on longer than it had he'd have been a sure fire Hall of Famer and probably would've retired as one of the best ever.Eddie George is not even close to being a Hall of Famer in my opinion. Nick 1733
I believe TD should be in the hall, no doubt. He had FOUR very good years 1995-98, and three GREAT years 1996-98. Had he not gotten injured, he would have been the best the league had ever seen, no doubt about that. If Sayers can get in, then Davis definately deserves it. 4 1,000 yd seasons, 2,000 yd season, 2 Super Bowls, Super Bowl MVP, NFL MVP, 3 time Pro Bowl selection. Just because injuries hindered his career from 1999-02, doesn't mean that it should keep him out of the HOF. Also, when great running backs come up, despite his short career, his name is still mentioned. Now to George. Unfortunately, I don't think he'll get in, however if it was up to me I would say yes. He may not have been the most dynamic back for the most dominate but he was consistant and very durable. He did break 10,000 and that's a big deal for a back of his style. Avenger
Id say yes to George because while his numbers werent amazing, they were still good, and on top of that, I also feel that players should be judged by their charictar as well when in consideration for the hall, and thats something George has no doubt. Its also a reason why id say no to Davis.Wait... what's wrong with TD's character?

Hes straight up a class act. Unlike Davis, who had to be one of the biggest as$holes ive ever met, on several occasions. But then again, who knows. Maybe Davis was just having a (few) bad day(s), and maybe Eddie had just taken his Prozac. On 11/19/2012 at 7:23 PM, oldschoolvikings said: She’s still half convinced “Chris Creamer” is a porn site.) I'd probably be in kinda a bad mood, too, if I had to go through that ordeal.
