Roger Clemente
I just thought of something cool you could do for your site for the rest of the year.In the title bar where is say CHRIS CREAMER'S SPORTS LOGOS, you could have a very fancy grafitti tag that has the word CREAMER scratched out and in a nice handwriting script, have CRINGLE written over it.Hell you could make the site buttons red and green if you wanted to.--Roger "Time?" Puckguy14
its a royal pain in the butt. the coding is easy, but remember its for 560 logos. so just hang on everybody and be patient 2004 San Jose Sharks 7th Man Fan of the Year San Jose Gold Miners - 4x Lombardi Cup Champions
CJR
You're still hand-coding the whole thing, right? If so, that's gotta be a pain in the ass. The best thing I ever did for my site was make it database-driven, everything is so much easier now. Let me know if you're ever looking to switch to a database-driven format (assuming you haven't already). Sec19Row53
Which playoff logos do you need? Somewhere in this closet behind me I have playoff programs from a few games at Lambeau. If there's any that I have, I'd gladly scan and e-mail or post them (maybe then I'll finally put something on a website). It's where I sit. CC97
Not including super bowl, the only playoff logos I have are:- the current generic looking PLAYOFFS logo that the NFL is using- the AFC and NFC championship game logos from 2003 --- Chris Creamer Founder/Editor, SportsLogos.Net "The Mothership" • News • Facebook • X/Twitter • Instagram
CJR
It's XMLMmmm... XML.Yeah, I'm a dork about the technical side of this stuff. I haven't played around with XML enough so I'm just using XHTML with PHP & MySQL right now. TruColor
XML will change the world.I'm only half-joking. Seriously, XML is the way to go; ya don't need databases at all if you know how to work with XML.
Puckguy14
These are the logos Chris is looking for. I don't have all of them to show, but these are the ones. These are the AFC and NFC Championship game logos, but we also need the Wild Card Weekend and Divisional Playoff logos from this set.Plus, also the Wild Card and Divisional logos from this version of playoff logos:One more team logo...the typeface from this Eagles poster 2004 San Jose Sharks 7th Man Fan of the Year San Jose Gold Miners - 4x Lombardi Cup Champions

Seriously, XML is the way to go; ya don't need databases at all if you know how to work with XML.I thought that XML you lost the ability to search through the information that you have with databases. For example, on my site I currently have a database table containing all the scores of every Wings game. Because that info is in a database, I can search for all games where the Wings won by 3 goals in the playoffs. You can't do that with XML 'cause it's a flat file, can you?Not trying to hijack the thread or anything, consider this a bump. We used it at a company i worked at. Send one file to the client and then they could search/sort/present that file in multiple ways without calling back to the server at all.just my understanding of XML...my question, how are you accessing the pictures..storing them on the server and just referencing them via XML?
