Cleveland Browns Logo Concept

The Browns have never had a real logo as far as I know, or at least not one that would work on a helmet, so I made a logo that represents them and still keeps the simplicity they've always had.

The emphasis here is on the C, not the B. The C is the one that would be used on the helmets. The white is for helmets, and the orange is for merchandising purposes.

Short and simple... what do you think?

Why is there such a big space between the letters? I think you're on the right track with thinking about the simplicity the Browns would need in a logo. But this is generic enough that it's not distinctive enough to really represent that team. The real challenge with logos like this is to make a logo that's simple, yet when you see it, you immediately think "Cleveland Browns".

Definately an improvement. The stubs on the end of the C are a bit distracting though. Maybe extend the C a bit or maybe have the B encompass the C.

I'm trying to find a way to work around those stubs. It's pretty hard. I don't want the B to be bigger that the C, either.

How 'bout this: Move the part of the C over so that it connects with the stubs in the middle, rather than the end.

I tried it, and it made it look like the "B" was an "R"

Maybe use a lowecase "B" instead.

You know, I rarely visit ccslsc anymore. I really should fix that.

Sorry dude, but I hate it. Nothing beats the bulldog. Untouchable in my opinion. I wist they would make that the official logo (BUT NOT ON THE HELMET!)

That would not make a good logo.

The team is the Browns. Not the Bulldogs. The Bulldogs are the fans, not the team. The Bulldog was a weird attempt to market a section of fans, The Dogpound, instead of the team itself.

Putting the Bulldog on the Browns helmet makes as much sense as putting a Hog on a Redskins helmet because its fans are the Hogettes.

hmmmm, reading comprehention? BUT NOT ON THE HELMET means NOT ON THE HELMET. And your comments obviously are made by a person who has never thrown a snowball at someone not wearing orange and brown on a FREEZING Sunday in December at Municiple Stadium. The Browns are what ever the Browns fans say they are and thats a bulldog these days. That symbol is LOVED in Cleveland...at least in Cleveland Heights it is.

Spelling Comprehension?

For the record, I'm not a fan of the concept either.

[Croatia National Team Manager Slavan] Bilic then went on to explain how Croatia's success can partially be put down to his progressive man-management techniques. "Sometimes I lie in the bed with my players. I go to the room of Vedran Corluka and Luka Modric when I see they have a problem and I lie in bed with them and we talk for 10 minutes." Maybe Capello could try getting through to his players this way too? Although how far he'd get with Joe Cole jumping up and down on the mattress and Rooney demanding to be read his favourite page from The Very Hungry Caterpillar is open to question. --The Guardian's Fiver, 08 September 2008
