nitroseed
So, in looking up stuff on the AFL, I've been noticing that the Columbus Destroyers (formerly the Buffalo Destroyers) have removed the buffalo head from their logo and now are represented solely by a wordmark. (Ref: http://www.arenafootball.com/teams/columbus_destroyers/) God forbid there ever be a buffalo logo anywhere else but BUFFALO. (sarcasm) Anyways, does anyone know if they plan on updating this thing to a full-blown logo or do they plan on sticking with just a wordmark for their first season in Columbus? Phil
God forbid there ever be a buffalo logo anywhere else but BUFFALO. (sarcasm)And by the same token, heaven forbid there be a Buffalo team without a bison in their logo.I think this more of a logical change though... despite being big and having horns, bison are herbivores, and when I think Destroyers, I don't think 'destroying' a few tufts of grass counts. misterhabs
I heard they were using the wordmark this season as a stop-gap measure and unveiling a totally new design for the following (2005) season. I haven't heard if they're changing their entire identity, but it's certainly a possiblity.Ben
