Yall see this on sportscenter? Nate shows off his hops.

Anyone have a better picture, I'd like a better quality one, this is just a screencap from the video on espn.com

The World Basketball Championship, the Davis Cup, Ryder Cup, Iraq: Every day there's further proof that we, as a nation, are not very good at international competition.

All I know is, Yao Ming is the most posterized Center I have ever seen in the NBA. He is always getting dunked on, or getting his weak ass shots blocked into the stands.

But this is a new height...5'9" Nate Robinson packed Yao's dunk...with Yao in full extension. That is play of the decade.

Which is why Alonzo Mourning stepped his game up. Last year he was getting dunked on by all sorts of people. He's stopped it this year, he swatted the :censored: outta Josh Smith's dunk. That was amazing, since you know Josh Smith has Super Mario hops.

Keep in mind that Ming's virtical is about 2"

Nick is right. I don't know if Yao is lazy or what but he only jumps like 2 or 3 inches or even tippy-toes off the ground so he's makes him vulnerable to getting dunked on or blocked like he did.

College sports as we know them are just about dead. The lid is off on all the corruption that taints just about every major program and every decision that the schools or the NCAA make is only about money, money, and more money. We'll have three 16+ team super-conferences sooner rather than later, killing much of the regional flair and traditional rivalries that make college sports unique and showing the door to any school that doesn't bring money to the table in the process. Pretty soon the smaller schools are going to have to consider forming their own sanctioning body to keep the true spirit of college sports alive because the NCAA will only get worse in it's excess from here

Most of those 7-footers don't have much of a virtical because they don't need to. The fact that Yao can basically touch the rim flat-footed makes dunks that much easier. So why go up hard when you can just hop?

On the issue of that play. That. Was. Awesome.

What they didn't show you on ESPN were the thirteen other times he swatted at and missed the ball.

:D I remember watching all 14 tries last year. :censored:, the college dunk contest is handled better, which is f'in sad when you think about it.
