"MALCOLM GLAZER is ready to expand his Manchester United empire into America and wants David Beckham to spearhead the ambitious move - according to influential fanzine Red Issue."

I don't know, where does The Mirror fit in the legitimacy of the English press? or is it 100% tabloid? And what's with this "Red Issue"? don't know.

Anyway, maybe just a bunch of bull..., but here's link.

1-Red Issue an a Man U "fanzine", but not affiliated to the parent club.

2-I will have those closer to the UK newspaper scene to describe the reliability and popularity of The Mirror.

3-Remember AGE and its owner should still be in the driver's seat since Phil Anschutz has a net worth nearly four times that of the Glazer family. $7.6B to 2.0B according to Fortune Magazine. I doubt that the Galaxy would be bought intirely, but can see a partnership.

Did he forget about us Buc fans? It sure seems like it.

Yeah, im kinda gettin that feeling too, but I will say this. When your owner and your coach bring you a Super Bowl to a team that has been the leagues doormat since the day of their birth, its kinda hard to be hatin THAT much. But needless to say, I am becoming VERY impatient.

Yes but that's my problem with them. They worked hard to bring a World Championship to Tampa and then immediately turned their backs on the team and focused their attention elsewhere.

Be careful United fans. If you win the EPL this year, the Glazers could have you in the Coca-Cola leagues by 2009.

Isn't most of his money tied up in the United purchase? He had to put Isn't most of his money tied up in the United purchase? He had to put the team in serious debt in order to finance that sale, now he's buying other squads?

LOL! I love it. Scummers deserve no less than to have the american forget about his new toy (just like he did to the Bucs).[
