BawlmerOreos
It's embarrassing how bad that hat looks. So, in fact, it matches how bad the current Jays look is.It's nice to see that the O's aren't the only team in the division with absolutely no clue on how to market itself. You mean the D-Rays actually have a clue on how to market itself? Market themselves? Yes.Build a respectable baseball team over 11 years? Sadly, no. Frank Creative
Original6
I don't get why all the people here are complaining about the black. Yeah they are the BLUE jays but even real blue jays have black on them.

Yeah they are the BLUE jays but even real blue jays have black on them. And the Toronto Blue Jays have virtually no blue on them. Kind of like that reversed Bengals helmet thread. In other news, Gregg Zaun wore the Jays' regular home cap during his press conference today. facespace?http://www.myspace.com/seancalcottmusic http://www.myspace.com/forgottentoys

Discrim
funny thing about them mugs, their home alt jersey's, of all colors, red. Why, you ask? As I've never been in Virginia, I couldn't tell you, I'm just guessing they looked at their home jersey's red number and figured why the hell not. and then their road jerseys the last couple years were black with Norfolk in Mets-style script...and in Mets colors to boot, hence a black, blue and orange jersey went with a black cap with several shades of blue, a different red, but no orange A strong mind gets high off success, a weak mind gets high off bull
FUNKAFIED
I miss the red "T" with the Bluejay flexing his bicep. I thought that was a cool logo. They could have re-colored that for the current scheme and it would STILL look cool.

That's inconsistency, son. They use the same J from Jays on their primary caps, why not use the same T from Toronto on their alternates?
powersurge
I don't get why all the people here are complaining about the black. Yeah they are the BLUE jays but even real blue jays have black on them. You are joking right? I'm serious, because many animals have bits of black on them but it doesn't mean that they are all black. I can understand the Baltimore Ravens incorporating a large amount of black in their unis because a raven basically appears to be all black (with hints of Purple as we proved on another thread). A Blue Jay is NOT all black, so for Toronto to incorporate a large amount of black is less of a reference to the black on the bird but to sell more hats and jerseys. Black for Blacks sake, as I like to call it. I'm not a fan. Ban the Black and ban the grey unless they are merely ACCENTS.
