I don't know french and I could tell immediatly that the C stands for Candiens and the H stands for Hockey. It seems you just need to have common sense to figure out what the logo means. I like the orange, agree they should use the throwback, though.The Lions I get. I LOVE Honolulu Blue. Best color in sports. But if you used the old Bucs unis in the old one, why not use their Barry Sanders unis? I'd even take the Billy Sims messy screenprinted silver number mess over the current look.The Bruins current uniforms? An absolute mess. Where are the old school Calgary Flames? The Lanny McDonald/Gary Suter jerseys were my favorite ever. Great logo, clean use of a solid scheme. And he chooses the Chefs? Yikes.Tigers and Cardinals missing it must be the biggest boggle, however. Easily the best looking World Series ever this year. It is an exercise in futility to argue with what SI's opinion is, since they don't care what the public thinks. My one observation: notice how all the unis they mentioned are ones that have been around for 30+ years (with minor tweaks)? What if we each submit our top 10 unis across all 4 of the major American leagues, total up the votes, and truely see what the top 10 would be.Anyway, Lions and Knicks, no way. Proc Posted December 1, 2006 Share Posted December 1, 2006 As a Motowner, I'd have to say that the Tigers home white with the olde English "D" belonged on that list and not the Lions. I like the Lions uniform, but not over the Tigers. As for the Red Wings, I like the road white (which I still can't accept as being the road uniform after years of the NHL wearing white at home).How can a "Best" list leave off the Blackhawks (red) off the list?
