Notice the traditional Mr. Redlegs as a moustache, but you cannot have one as an actual member of the team.The Reds are your favorite team but you weren't aware that their players have been allowed to wear beards and moustaches since 1999? I think its just the angle that makes the red look kind of orageish to me, but the black dropshadows kind of emote that feel to me. The Pirates are the one team that makes vests work. The Brewers only need to add "Milwaukee" to the roads for a perfect set, and now the Reds are near perfect IMO. The only weak link is the Astros. winghaz Posted December 3, 2006 Share Posted December 3, 2006 When I was a little kid, in the early '60s, I really thought the Reds nickname came from communism (as little kids, we heard about Russia and communism all the time, and even had Civid Defense shelters at home). If you look at the slide show, the home unis have larger numbers on the back than do the road unis, as portrayed by Todd Coffey (roads; 5th pic) and Chris Denorfia (home; last pic)Has this been done on other uni sets? What are your thoughts on this design idea?? I don't think it's bad or anything, I just think it's interesting...
