2007 College Football Changes

Based on the new uniform templates Nike is introducing for 2007, it's very possible the Oregon fiasco was a one-year experiment. There is a style that looks like the previous year's version, with darker shoulders.

There is also a style called "warrior" which has chevron-like shapes running down the sides of the jersey and pants. It's unknown which teams may adopt this style.

Does there happen to be a link to view this new style? If not, do you happen to know when one might be available?

It's possible that Washington State could be breaking out new unis, as they wore the "uniforms of the future" for a game, exactly like how Oregon broke out this year's set during last year's Civil War.

It's possible, but Doba's an old-school guy who favored going back to old-school uniforms in the first place.

However, you never know with Wazzu and Russell. Heck, they change our b-ball unis every year, maybe football's next.

Man,that is gonna be one sick template,if done right color wise of course.

Yeah, it'll be cool, for like the first 45 teams who adopt it.

I haven't heard anything yet, but my prediction would be Miami. They usually are the first ones to get a Nike template and then have it for a few years before everyone gets it (like their last championship ones) and they've had the bra straps for a few years and now everyone has them...plus they are getting a new coach and I haven't seen the green pants all year.

Oregon usually keeps their style for 2-3 years. I think what was shown as the "Oregon" style was the generic template for any other school to use - therefore minus the diamond plate marks.

I'll second the Miami guess; with a new coach in place it would be a good time for a change.

I agree. I highly doubt the "oregon" jerseys displayed will actually be used. They're probably just templates for generic usage. The "oregon" elite jersey is hideous...doubt they'll use it. We'll probably see more diamondplate madness in the future.

I think FSU could pull it off. Just switch the garnet and black.
