Bucks6thMan
What are some unis you feel were prematurely changed because they became associated with losing?I ask because I was looking over some Brewers paraphanillia I've collected over the years and realized how much I liked the mid 90's unis (though I didn't care for the "Motre Bame" logo): http://www.baseballhalloffame.org/exhibits...mp;Entryid=1777Another one that comes to mind is the Bengals... if only they'd have stuck with them for one more year. The MB logo stunk. But once they dumped that cap for the "M" cap, their uniforms became outstanding classic baseball uniforms. Right HereAs for the Bengals, they may have changed even if they did not stink. As great as those jerseys were, I think they may have scrapped them for the trend of today.Same with the creamsicle bucs. I love those uniforms and wish they still had them. Best helmet ever. But I think they would probably have changed either way.Other examples:--The Christmas Devils. They got good after switching from those great/unique colors to the very boring red and black. I always wondered whether good play would have kept those great uniforms alive.--The T-Wolves. They stunk it up in their original uniforms. And while the logo may have quickly become outdated, the uniforms were great. Disclaimer: If this comment is about an NBA uniform from 2017-2018 or later, do not constitute a lack of acknowledgement of the corporate logo to mean anything other than "the corporate logo is terrible and makes the uniform significantly worse." ars427x
To some degree, I think the unis of the '70s/'80s Patriots, the pre-2000s Detroit Lions, and the '80s Falcons fall into this category.
Shumway
I'm still ****ing mad they changed. I loved those unis.I was looking through some old cards the other day, and I agree completely. Another example would be the Cleveland Cavaliers. I really liked the ones when they had when they had umm...Shawn Kemp, I guess. Honestly, I liked the ones with the big blue thing going across the chest, but these were better.I always thought they had stripes on both sides though. Spearhead
The Houston Oilers of the early 1970s were about as bad as you could get.But they wore these beauties:

tBBP
Tampa Bay BuccaneersAMEN AMEN AMEN. BUCCO BRUCE RULES!Hence my (user)namesake...Hey. um...guys...we're leaving a team out here. Yeah--a team that had one of the all-time classic looks--just too bad they were marred by 50-some odd years of losing and mediocrity (with a handful of decent years thrown in, like 1998, per se?) Know which team I'm talkin' bout?Take a look-see:(Just to put these in persective...I wouldn't expect anyone to remember Sam Mitchell, #30...but the other three, in case you don't remember? #37, Larry Centers, one of the game's best fullbacks in his day...and one of the better pass-catching backs the league has seen; #87, RICKY PROEHL (yeah--dude's been around for a MINUTE), and #23, Garrison Hearst--yes, THAT Garrison Hearst. I didn't even include Eric Metcalf, Boomer Esiason, Simeon Rice, Rob Moore (NOT Rod Tidwell ), or Thomas Jones--or Dan Dierdorf, for that matter, or Eric Metcalf's pops, Terry--who wore the same number).p.s. I left jake Plummer out for a very good reason... *Disclaimer: I am not an authoritative expert on stuff...I just do a lot of reading and research and keep in close connect with a bunch of people who are authoritative experts on stuff. || dribbble || Behance ||

hawk36
The brown and gold of the Padres. It was classic, original, made sense, but the team never won until they added the Taco Bell orange and then the navy. Also, the Mariners trident M logo. Was a great look but was considered bad luck to have it shown upsidedown. Design Hovie Studios

PeytonManningRocks
Bucs for sure. I'd also say the Broncos might have been a little superstitious about the Orange Crush unis after losing in the playoffs so many times. Then they changed to the current duds and won 2 titles.
