they currently have an "F" in a circle

who puts the initial of their mascot on their helmets

green bay packers? washington huskies? west virginia? at least put a t or tc

i cant guarentee they will use it and im sure you wont get paid

that would be considered a logo

its definately not an h

i remember the old mariners hat

had an "M" but it was in the form of a trident and had a star behind it

not just a plain M

they now have an S

A logo? You're right it is definitely not an h, but rather it is a u.

I wonder how many Miami Dolphins fans are in Washington? Hmm lets start counting...

Not many. If you're going to emulate a NFL team up there, you have to use Seahawk colors.

Tri-City Tri-Cities, basically same thing. I live in the Quad Cities, but a lot of companies and even sports teams use Quad City for the name. It has to do with usage. When it stands alone, you use Quad Cities. When combined with another noun you use Quad City, as if it were an adjective.

Quad City Mallards

Quad City Area

but

The Quad Cities.

I would not be surprised if the Twin City area did the same thing. See, just did it.

I apologize to everyone for resurrecting this thread. I meant to reply with a quick concept I did over a week but I had some technical difficulties with my email address and posting to this board.

Anyway, since I already drew it, here is my logo idea:
