Roger Clemente Posted December 19, 2003 Posted December 19, 2003 Here's a jersey idea I came up with that I doubt could actually be used for anything other than a third jersey. It's out there, but I think usuable.Copy and paste: Can you feel the heat?--Roger "Time?" Clemente. Follow me on Twitter if you care: @Animal_Clans.My opinion may or may not be the same as yours. puckcool22 Posted December 19, 2003 Posted December 19, 2003 the gradient def does work, i would use it
sc49erfan15 Posted December 19, 2003 Posted December 19, 2003 I dunno about the gradient, but I do like the flames on the sleeve.
STL FANATIC Posted December 19, 2003 Posted December 19, 2003 I usually hate gradiants, but I liked the Canucks third when it came out. I have since gotten tired of it. This I like. Maybe I'll get tired of it, but it looks good right now. JUSTIN STRIEBEL | PORTFOLIO | RESUME | CONTACT
rockiesrule Posted December 19, 2003 Posted December 19, 2003 Better than what we have now (the flaming snot horse), by a long shot. The one the Flames are using should be burned (pun intened)
Foolio8ca Posted December 19, 2003 Posted December 19, 2003 WHAT'S WRONG WITH THE FLAMING HORSE HEAD???? It works with the city of Calgary. Yeah I admit it dosen't look that good on the front of the jersey but I don't mined it on the sholder. Just keep it the way it is, two flaming C's for home and away and the horse for an alternate.
NJTank Posted December 19, 2003 Posted December 19, 2003 The fmaing horse head could have been good but the colors are ugly and the way it was drawn was ulgy it could work but it would need a massive reworking. www.sportsecyclopedia.com For the best in sports history go to the Sports E-Cyclopedia at http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com
Primal Posted December 19, 2003 Posted December 19, 2003 Actually that's a pretty sweet design. I'd be inclined to leave the flames off the arms though. Leave em black and that's all good!(as for the real third? I'd like to see horsey get a makeover into a dragon...)
fiasco! Posted December 19, 2003 Posted December 19, 2003 roger, that looks great (gradient and all).....it seems that you are really getting the hang of illustrator. (i assume that's what you used) LinkedIn
zer0dotcom Posted December 19, 2003 Posted December 19, 2003 It looks really good. The gradiant doesn't look that bad on this. (gradients BLOW) It adds to the "Flames" feel. I'd like to see it in full black. Very nice
spyboy1 Posted December 22, 2003 Posted December 22, 2003 Verrrrrrrry nice! This is one of the best uses of a gradient I think you're ever going to see.I'm personally surprized that no team like the Flames or Devils have ever used a flame pattern on the sleeve or waist stripes.I predict someday you are going to say, "Hey, I did that a few years ago."JeffB Click here to read Third String Goalie - The Hockey Jersey of the Day Blog Click here to see my hockey and baseball jersey collection online ?You don?t like to see 20 kids punching 20 other kids. commish Posted December 26, 2003 Posted December 26, 2003 Great job Roger. With or without the gradient, I think the flames on the arms look sweet. As a Flames fanatic, I like it!
