The Concept Forum

Some reminders about the uses of this forum:

1. The purpose of the Concepts forum is to share original logo and uniform ideas. If you wish to discuss existing professional logos, please do so in the Sports Logo Forum

This isn't a forum to get your ass kissed about how awesome your work is. If you post something here, expect critical comments about what you post. Just because it's 'fantasy' doesn't excempt it from comments about how it looks or what works and what doesn't.

2. Before you submit any works, please take steps to ensure the security of your work. ie wordmarks, signatures, etc. thefts have occurred. Do your best to protect your work!

Posting a Concept:

3. Make sure that you post a descriptive title, and accurately describe your design in your post. Make it clear what it is you have, and what you were trying to achieve. This will help posters understand what you have done and help to give constructive feedback.

Responding to a Concept:

4. DO NOT respond using only an emoticon. Emoticons are stupid little internet tools for people who aren't competent enough to put three words together. show us how smart you are and attempt to form a coherent sentence.

That said, i am officially banning the use of the puking emoticon in this forum, as well as any outside emoticon that following in that general theme.

6. If you like a concept, say why. What is it that you like about it? Why do you like it? Why does it catch your eye? What can they do to make this concept better?

If you don't like that concept, the same request is made. What needs to change, what can they do to improve.

When Posting a Concept - for those who don't understand the mechanics of the board

7. When you decide you are going to post a concept, please do not posts something you made up in less than 15 minutes. In 15 minutes you don't have enough time to put a substancial amount of thought or effort into your design.

It won't be enough work to be indicitive of your skill level, and positive comments given out will most likely be minimal.

Please take the time to finish up your concept as much as possible before posting in so that you will gain the most amount of experience possible, and will get a more positive response.

The more work you do, the more you learn, and the better you become

Posting the Concept

i- save your concept as a .gif or .png or whatever.

ii- go to photobucket.com, register a free account

iii- upload your image into your photobucket account. The controls are right at the top of the page.

iv- After uploading onto photo bucket, find the {IMG} line beneath it. Copy that line into your post to get your concept to appear

Please, if people are being childish and fighting or acting stupid, report it to a Mod. We can do things about it that don't involve things just getting more out of hand.
