charger77
At my local marshalls recently I saw a black Saints jersey, w/o numbers or a name. Discrim
At my local marshalls recently I saw a black Saints jersey, w/o numbers or a name. I'm still mad at myself for not shelling out the 7.99 and slapping a 9 and Brees on it.Danheh, I bought numberless 95-99 Patriots home and 98 Oilers home/away jerseys from Rogan's tent sale ($5 for the Pats, $10 for the Oilers...heh, musta been a brief sale) after I graduated from high school back in 01, and they're still blank aside from logos and striping. Now this summer, I bought a blank Pacers pinstriped home and an equally blank Magic pinstriped road from the tent sale ($10 each), only to find the latter's a little too tight. Shoot, there were several other blanks there, such as a Syracuse Nationals, some Warriors City, and Jazz mountains (oddly, the mountains WERE on that Jazz jersey but nothing else)Problem is, "slapping a name and number" on a jersey can cost you over $100.I peep the TJMaxx, Marshalls, Ross, etc.. but I've NEVER had any luck with the Goodwill.. i guess i gotta keep trying. payno, admittedly the thrift stores tend to be hit or miss, cus if you don't get it, somebody else will. I remember a few years ago at the Village they had a mid 80s Packers road jersey for $10, but being a broke high school student at the time, I had to pass it up. Predictably, it was as good as gone the next time I was there. So a few months later, I snapped up a Barcelona Dragons jersey I happened to find there (sorry, I forgot how much I paid for it, but it was worth it), cus I knew damn well finding another rarity like this would basically be dumb luck. Korkie
My locals Marshalls still has authentic TO Eagles jerseys. I think they are down to $9.95. Also, they have this sweet '80 style Iverson Sixers throwback, the red jersey. Now that he is gone, maybe it will be marked down and I will jump all over it. JetsLuvver
Thrift stores around me don't have much in the way of jerseys, but I have found a Sports Specialties LA Rams hat and a Seattle Supersonics T-shirt proclaiming them 1998 Western Conference Champions.I do have tons of cheap jerseys from Marshalls, TJ Maxx and similar stores, though. charger77
Last night (2-20-07) I picked up a Minnesota Twins home jersey. Not sure if it is a replica or authentic (the logo was tackle-twill ans sewn on) for only $15 at TJ Maxx. They also had a bunch of replicas of Joey Harrington, Charles Rogers and Ben Wallace for $12.Dan PotD May 11th, 2011looooooogodud: June 7th 2010 - July 5th 2012
BBTV
The Marshall's and TJ Maxxxxx in my area are overflowing with Bobby Abreu and Jim Thome Phillies jerseys. 99% replica, but I have seen at least one authentic of each (or at least authentic numbers.) I remember thinking how odd that was because I'd never seen that with any other team, it was always one or two color block.

OHLArenaGuide
I recently found a current Canucks dark for $20 at my local Value Village; never worn. It's worth checking in every once in a while; you never know what you'll find.
Neon_Matrix
I have never found anything of value in the Peterborough Value Village I have been into a few times. The only jersey I have seen there that I almost bought was an ok condition Kings away replica jersey. I am glad I didn't buy it because....I go to Kensington Market here in Toronto to get all my jerseys because while the prices aren't really dirt cheap, they have one hell of a selection. From there over the past 2 years I have bought (and for the price I remember)Authentic Penguins home jersey circa late 90's - $25Authentic Kings road jersey circa 1988 - $25Replica Devils road jersey circa early 90's - $20Replica North Stars road jersey circa 1992 - $20Replica Jays road jersey circa early 90's - $18Replica Mark Messier Oilers Road Jersey circa 1981/82 - $50 (mint condition vintage... couldn't pass this baby up even though it was so pricey... if I post pics of it you'd see why, lol)Authentic Leafs away jersey circa mid 90's - $25 (not in the best shape but I bought it so I could wear it and mess it up and not flip cuz I spent $250+ on my other two authentic Leafs jerseys)Replica Ducks home/away jersey circa late 90's - both $20I think thats all... while they aren't dirt cheap, they are still pretty good finds. The place where I snagged the Messier jersey also had a big collection of 70's Sabres and Canadien's jerseys AS well as an original Caps white jersey, but they went for much cheaper because they weren't in the best shape (not as good as the Mess!). The jerseys I regret passing up are -Replica Blues home Shanahan jersey (from the season he was traded) for $25Replica Canucks Road Tiger Williams flying V for $80 (GREAT condition and... Tiger Williams, yo!)Replica Hurricanes jersey for $25Replica Wild jersey for $25Replica blue Oshawa Generals jersey for $25I think there were a few others... but I'm still happy with my haul! Sport
There is a sporting goods store in downtown Cincinnati called Kocks, pronounced cooks. There I found my prized islanders fisherman jersey, used and without a number for $15 and purple Utah Jazz shorts with the mountain on one leg for $5. That was a good day.
