goforbroke Posted January 16, 2007 Share Posted January 16, 2007 yeshe confirmed it on msg a few years ago when he was asked about his mask. he said unlike a lot of other teams the rangers don't really have a mascot and he didnt want to just use the logo so that's why he used the statue of liberty. then he said its what they based the alts on.
