Phil
Quick Chris! Turn in these offenders' IP addresses to NFL officials! Maybe they'll give us a reward, which we can in turn use to fund the boards.Go get 'em, Roger Goodell!...what if you, say, have numerous 55" screens? gueman
NFL won't let church show gameINDIANAPOLIS - The NFL has nixed a church's plans to use a wall projector to show the Colts-Bears Super Bowl game, saying it would violate copyright laws. NFL officials spotted a promotion of Fall Creek Baptist Church's "Super Bowl Bash" on the church Web site last week and overnighted a letter to the pastor demanding the party be canceled, the church said.So does the NFL have a bunch of folks who Google "Super Bowl" and see who is doing what? The only real issue is that the church committed the sin of using "Super Bowl". In this day and age I can't believe some one at the church didn't realize that using "Super Bowl" might attract unwanted attention especially in Indy. How many times do we hear a radio or TV spot that calls it the "big game" because they don't or can't pay the rights fees. Giving money and power to government is like giving whiskey and car keys to teenage boys. P. J. O'Rourke
