rmackman
I went for an update of their current clash kit. First off be aware that the eagle is not supposed to be that prominent. I just don't know how to make it look sublimated. I added stars to the shoulder, and changed the striping to look more like the American Flag. Then I added some red in the shorts so they weren't so plain, and then put a few stars on the socks. I thought it looked more American that way, sort of in the fashion that Argentina's jersey has a look of their flag. As far as the "sublimated" eagle, ideally it would take up more space and be ghosted to look sort of like the way this jersey has it: "Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up. It knows it must run faster than the fastest lion or it will be eaten. Every morning in Africa, a lion wakes up. It knows it must outrun the slowest gazelle or it will starve. It doesn't matter whether you're a lion or a gazelle. When the sun comes up, you'd better be running." - Unknown | Check out my articles on jerseys at Bacon Sports
Alphabet Man
Nike won't allow 3 red stripes across the front.Other than that I think it is workable. twitter.com/thebrainofMatt
BallWonk
"Is that an eagle in your pants, or are you just happy to see me?"Needs work on placement, size, and orientation of the eagle. I think something much bigger (ie, more of the eagle than just the head, like in the Great Seal) and more subtle would be better.Plus, you'll have to convince Nike that those are five stripes, not three. koizim
Am I the only one who feels insulted by the fact that the eagle is coming out of his crotch ? Maybe you should put it up higher with more body showing. Engine, Engine, Number Nine, on the New York transit line, If my train goes off the track, pick it up! Pick it up! Pick it up! rmackman
I wanted to make the eagle sublimated across the entire shirt, but I don't know how to do that, so I had to put it where it is. I have no skills when it comes to graphic design, haha! I figured red, white, red, white, red is 5 stripes, but I'll work on that tonight to increase it. "Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up. It knows it must run faster than the fastest lion or it will be eaten. Every morning in Africa, a lion wakes up. It knows it must outrun the slowest gazelle or it will starve. sickpickle
No to the eagle. No the stars on the socks. Yes to the rest of it.
BB61
I wouldn't put the Eagle on the front if you're going to have the stripes. It has to be one or the other. If you want to do the Eagle, make it larger, and perhaps do it on the back.
rmackman
Okay here's my attempt at ghosted sublimation. The bird is flying now but it's hard to see. This is closer to what I was going for in the first place. I decided not to mess with the stripes because I felt if it was an adidas shirt, the stripes would be on the shoulders and it would have been red, navy, red, navy, red. The white I felt makes it a total of five stripes instead of three. Here's the current clash kit they use so you can see the differences: "Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up. It knows it must run faster than the fastest lion or it will be eaten. Every morning in Africa, a lion wakes up. It knows it must outrun the slowest gazelle or it will starve. It doesn't matter whether you're a lion or a gazelle.
