Mac the Knife
ArticleJavan Camon, 25, of the Daytona Beach Thunder of the WIFL, was killed in a game this week, the result of a head-on collision with an opposing player.Say what you may want about low-level minor league indoor football, but this is sad. The guy likely was playing primarily for the enjoyment of playing football, and dying on the gridiron isn't a cool way to go, no matter who you are. infrared41
Sadly, it's just a matter of time before we see this same thing happen in the NFL or NCAA Football. The question isn't if but when. It's nothing short of a miracle that it hasn't happened more often.
TBGKon
As a USF Bulls fan, Camon will always be known as a Bull in our hearts. This is really sad because not even 2 months ago, the Bulls football team lost a current player and now this. It is truly sad, but we'll get thru it.RIP J. Camon, godspeed. PeytonManningRocks
This reminds me of Al Lucas of the AFL's LA Avengers dying on the field a couple years ago. Quite a sad tragedy indeed. RIP.
