Does it matter whos the QB for Tampa? If they land Calvin Johnson they should be set. This guy could make catches from Reggie "I suck" Ball(s).

But seriously, I think that they wont keep all 3 of these guys. Im betting 1 is cut by the beginning of the season. Id take Garcia over Plummer. And Simms for that matter. That being said none of these guys is the answer in Tampa and Im really surprised theyd even give up a draft pick for Plummer. What a waste.

I still think Simms could do well for us. He showed amazing improvement over the course of the 05 season and couldve done the same had he not gotten hurt last year. And having two burners to throw to, the more posession guy (now anyway in his later years) in Galloway and the breakout guy in Johnson could do wonders for Simms success. That along with Alex Smith at tight end and id say we have a somewhat decent recieving core. Now if we can accually get some linemen who could block worth a damn (which would improve not only our quarterback and recievers, but also Caddy Williams), if Alstott returns and shows even some of his past glory, and if our D holds up we should be able to compete this year.

Thats a lotts :censored: we need to have happen though.........

wait a second, the Plummer deal went thru? What the hell happens if we give the Broncos our 4th round pick in a trade and Plummer does decide to retire, do we get that pick back or are we screwed?

I dunno. Id think the trade would be void but im not sue. Either way this is another fine mess Tampa has got themselves into.

Its Jake for a Conditional 08 pick but only if Jake reports to Tampa. If he doesn't the deal is void.

LOL.

Anyways, good riddance to Joe Horn. May he go far, far away from the NFC South and I wish him well anywhere but here.

Bennett signed by Rams = Good move. They haven't had a big, dependable target at wide receiver for a while. I'm a big Bennett fan, so I was really interested to see where he ended up.

6 years, $30 million. Man, he better be better than Curtis, because they could have had him for that much IMO.

On a slightly related note...anybody know a good jersey customizer in the DC area? I have a replica Curtis jersey that I would prefer to not prematurely retire.

(I'm figuring Bennett will get Curtis' number if Curtis goes, Bennett was 83 with Tennessee.)

My man, Dennis Northcutt signed a 5 year deal with the Jaguars. I'm actually sad about this, he's been my favorite Brown for a long time. However, I could see his time in Cleveland could possibly coming to an end with the younger, other weapons the Browns have now.

So heres the latest rumor in the Bucs game of How the Quarterback Turns.

This is from a buddy of mine who is a Bucs insider

Here's the scoop on the Jake Plummer situation so for all you snake fans it's time to grab a pillow cause you might be crying in it after this , Tampa is currently deep in QB's surely were not keeping them all , were not word is Tampa is in heavy trade talks with the Raider's as you read this to make a trade for the snake.

Jake not happy about loseing his starting postion in Denver , and not having a quaranteed starting postion with Tampa , and his dreams of Houston taken away from him , he 's throwing a tiisy fit and has said he will retire . Well the Raider's let Araon Brooks go and are searching for the next big thing the next big thing that being Jake Plummer .

The Raiders and Bucs haven't finalized the deal yet but supposedly it's going down like this , The Buc's trade Plummer and there number 1 draft pick for the Raider's number one draft pick , that means the Buc's move up in the draft and can sure as hell qaurantee that they lock up that super hot WR Calvin Johnson they want so badly .

This just in from the NFL Network...

Brad Johnson agrees in principle to a 3-year deal to quarterback...the Cowboys.

Hmmm...

In other news, it appears Thomas Jones just got traded to (or will be traded to), the New York J-E-T-S-JETS-JETS-JETS-JETS....the Jets.

*Disclaimer: I am not an authoritative expert on stuff...I just do a lot of reading and research and keep in close connect with a bunch of people who are authoritative experts on stuff. 😁

Seahawks Reach 6 year agreement with DE Kerney

The Seahawks once again bolster the DL. It seems like they do every year.

At least they ran out of Rams linemen to pillage last season....although they're welcome to Kennedy when he hits the market. <_<

awful awful awful trade for the bears.

They gave up the only guy not named Walter Payton to gain 1300 yards in a bears uniform to MOVE UP in the second round. That's right, they gave up their second round pick as well.

Ugh.

What in God's name is Seattle thinking? Kerney is 31 and was injured most of last season.
