Guest darkpiranha Posted March 11, 2007 Share Posted March 11, 2007 I'm from Lake Charles (home of McNeese State) originally, and the changing of the logo generated a lot of griping and complaining, even though the new logo looks much better.I have a personal gripe, because I produce TV commercials and had just completed an entire series of spots for McNeese State. I had to go back and change out the logo anywhere it was displayed, which wasn't too difficult for the most part. However, there was one part where a student was talking about how great McNeese sports were and was holding a football helmet in her hands... with the old logo on it. I had to go in there and digitally change the logo on 300 frames of video (10 seconds), frame by frame. Took me five hours. In the end, no one could tell that it had been altered, so mission accomplished. So the moral of the story is, change your logo BEFORE shooting TV commercials with it.
