I know there are a few here who have access to the style guides and theyve been very good at dropping subtle hints in the past. Andy Posted March 9, 2007 Share Posted March 9, 2007 Well on the powder blue throwbacks, the bolt on the shoulder is in a white stripe like this. Could be part of their linking of the two sets, like taking parts from both eras.It's not only the powder blues. Every Chargers uniform set up until the current set has used either a white or yellow stripe to in case the bolt on the blue jerseys. I'm glad it's returning. Just as long as they keep the powder blues untouched for twice a year throwbacks....See, I'm kind of hoping that they just introduce a brand new powder blue alternate to go along with this set. I think the party in question is probably not going to engage in any type of conduct which might jeopardize future access to such style guides . . . . . . unless of course you're inclined to believe that his refusal to make any kind of comment on this issue is in and of itself a form of verification.Frankly, I don't know how frequently he's even on any more, so I wouldn't read too much into the lack of any commentary by this person.But you never know . . . Another thing I was thinking was why didn't they put the helmet numbers on the sides instead of the rear of the helmet and what will be the facemask color?
