Chazberg
It's at least better than the original logo, but still not that great. It has potential, if they'd lose some of the multitude of colors and goofy highlights. I just hope they go with the mustard jerseys fulltime, those things look friggin awesome in action. charles-noerenberg.com

STL FANATIC
I'm relatively neutral on the logo, but I just wanna add, that I'm pretty sure when we dug these logos up on TESS before they were unveiled a few years ago, the opinion of them was pretty dang high. Then again, (1) they were in black and white, and (2) I could be completely mistaken. FiddySicks
I personally kinda like it. It sort of has that whole transformers meets Iron Maiden feel. Kinda makes me wanna see Dave Murray and Steve Harris should team up on D and have Optimus Prime in goal. Toss it on the navy jersey and it accually somewhat certifiable. That mustard crap is rediculous though...... On 11/19/2012 at 7:23 PM, oldschoolvikings said: She’s still half convinced “Chris Creamer” is a porn site.) Joshawaggie
I would have to agree with that jsut being a different rendering. They def need an update... I think less is more should be the mantra. They need a simple, classic logo. This one SCREAMS 1997. @josh_j12 CFA- Fargo Bobcats

dutyfree
You know, I kind of like the idea of the pre-historic creature/ dinosaur identity for a team. These creatures were, as far as we can tell, fierce, remarkable, unlike anything that roams the earth today. The Toronto Raptors, (now with the claw as their primary logo, a vast improvement), went with a "kid friendly" cartoon.... Most kids I know would be insulted by such a rendering. Outside of paleontologists, young kids are the world's formost dinosaur/pre-historic creature aficionados.A sabretooth cat can be rendered effectively without throwing everything at your disposal at it (and with your eyes closed, at that). Why not a full body silhouette?

Roger Clemente
I found this logo on some site somewhere and I noticed that it was "more complete" and looked alot better then the other one. I also noticed that this one has a R and the otherone only has a TM. Not sure if that has anything to do with it but I am guessing it does.New:Old:What site was it?Also, if you look at the actual third jersey crest, the only differences between it and the supposed "new" logo you posted is the black line going down the front fangs and the white outline separating the cat from the triangle. All the other detail is there already:--Roger "Time?" Clemente. Follow me on Twitter if you care: @Animal_Clans.My opinion may or may not be the same as yours. The choice is up to you. fonz
Notice how the 'new' one has an iris and the 'old' one doesn't. But on the jersey it has the iris. What's going on here?

What's going on here?It would appear, as was mentioned already, that the second image the original poster posted is just a lower quality rendering of the original logo.--Roger "Time?" Clemente. josh_cat_eyes
The, THE, worst logo in professional sports. Unbelievable.I think it's a great logo. Bad logos Washington Caps one-legged bird and Washington Wizards! Okay I can understand if you hate over-detailed logos, do you also hate the Chicago Blackhawks logo (one of the greatest) which happens to have a lot of colors in it. I'm trying to figure out why people hate this logo, it baffles me.Because it's ugly.To be exact the worst logo in pro sports is the bufflaslug and I think it is a matter of opinion but I happen to like this logo. About the site. The "bad quality" one I got from sportslogos.net and the other one I found a couple months ago and I was looking around my computer for it and I didn't find it till now. I dont know what site I found it on but It looked different to me soo I saved it.Cat Eyes - Josh
Sodboy13
To be exact the worst logo in pro sports is the bufflaslug and I think it is a matter of opinion but I happen to like this logo.See, I actually prefer the Slugalo to this. For all its flaws - and oh man, there are many - the Slug does maintain a certain iconic simplicity. This thing - my god, what an overcomplicated mess. It's as if someone put a whole box of crayons to work on it, and rather randomly, at that. The cat may be well-rendered, but it's an ugly design that has more business being at GenCon than it does being on the front of a hockey sweater. And good Lord, what a sweater to put it on. Dual-layer mustard and navy = baby poo.And this is all coming from someone who actually likes the Preds' primary logo and uniform sets.Oh, and put the "N" back on the shoulders. That skull is another joke. Vicious
yeah TERRIBLE LOGO AND JERSEY! what bugs me is that the top right, and bottom of the triangle is just filled with blue. it makes it look even worse than it already does.they should think about getting another animal to indicate the word predator.or even just go with a cool wordmark.
