2007 NFL Draft Hats

They were THIS close to actually having a decent set of hats this year. But noooo, they had to put in the little mini-brim with the team nickname on it. Way to go Reebok, you were this close to doing something right with your hats for a change.

Hello, I'm the Director of Human Resources here at Reebok.

I'm looking to hire a talented new designer, who can create a fresh look for our 2007 NFL line of products.

If you think you've got what it takes to create the BUSIEST HAT IMAGINABLE, then I challenge you to post your hideous creation here. You just might be the next Reebok designer.

Remember -- busy, busy, busy!

Thanks,

Jackson Pollock

What are some of you complaining about? The Chargers cap looks very nice. Heck, I might want to get one of them for my sister, who is not only a San Diego resident, but a diehard Chargers fan as well. :D

Mesh = 80's downgrade. Why would I drop $25 for a $4 trucker hat? I have old ass Tampa hats from when I was a kid that look like this. $25 = gimme a fitted one and 1) not mesh 2) doesn't look like it belongs in Nascar.

I have Pro Bowl versions of these hats. Honestly, other than the white bill these are the best draft hats yet IMO. And the mesh is somewhat different than in previous years. Its a lot tighter and more durable.

Dear Mr. Pollock:

You, sir, are a fraud, not to mention dead - and I'm not talking the Lamicus kind of dead, either. I am the Director of Human Resources at Reebok.

That said, you are correct that we are looking for the busiest hat imaginable and all proposals should be as busy as possible.

Kindest Regards,

Peter Max

I wouldn't say I like them, per se, but at least there isn't a second, larger logo spray-painted, off-set to the right, on the back. THAT is the worst idea since the resurgance of mesh.

Definitely not a fan of the forced-white on the bill of every team.

Why is it Reebok's fault when its bad...but when its good you applaud the NFL or the team?

The NFL signs off on this stuff. If you've ever worked with a client on a design project you'd know that 80% of the time, they run the show. You better believe that a corporation that is trying to trademark the term "The Big Game" is going have a hand in the hats that are THE hat for their season.
