Hey, I hope to land tickets to the Regional action in Omaha next year. Maybe Creighton could play here... Wait, they can't unless they play less then four games there. :(

Oh well, it's NCAA action in Omaha!

Well, they had the Big East tourney a couple weeks ago, and the NIT is being played there next week.....

I meant the NCAA's, I should have specified that.

It's been a while, what with the Garden hosting the NIT every year and all. Besides, the Meadowlands has done a pretty good job for a couple of decades.

"Start spreading the news... They're leavin' today... Won't get to be a part of it... In old New York..."

In order for the Mets' run of 12 losses in 17 games to mean something, the Phillies still had to win 13 of 17.

The Final Four was held at MSG several years in the 40s and in 1950, then there was a point shaving scandal and it has not been back in NYC since, but its been at the Meadowlands several times, and I hope its held in Newark soon too.

EDIT: Never mind I was wrong.

As far as the Meadowlands goes depending on it fate this may be the last year it host it (They may have one more in the near future that was already determined). The new Prudential Center in Newark will probably be pushing to get tournament games and it will be home to 2 NCAA teams (Seton Hall, and NJIT which is stepping up to Div I.). The NCAA might go with the newer venue.

I'm not sure if NJIT will play at the Prudential Center I had not heard that yet I know the Hall will though. NJIT's campu though is very close to the Pru but its still a smaller school.

Well this Valley fan is sick and tired of d@mn moral victories for Valley teams. If only SIU could actually shoot straight tonight...

(Prepares to watch a Bill Self vs. Bruce Pearl coaching matchup in the finals because the basketball gods hate Illinois' guts).

Holy Crap!!!! I still may have a chance to win my pool! If Texas A+M holds on and Georgetown wins tomorrow 3/4 of my Final 4 teams are in the Elite 8 (Damn Badgers).

Scratch That, back to the regular spot in my pool (last few spots)

Yeah, A&M just got screwed royally. Memphis won't make the Final Four, though. Ohio State will.

You're just a tad bit biased, I'd assume.

I think Memphis has what it takes to beat Ohio State. I'm not one of the ones that have ragged on them this whole time for not playing anybody, either.

But yeah, the referees done messed up.

Yeah, I can't help being biased. I'm not saying Memphis is a bad team, I just don't think they can beat the Buckeyes. Should be a great game to watch.

Should be, but we might never know if the Vols can keep it up in the second half. FWIW, UT beat Memphis this season already.
