rmackman
I think I got almost all of 'em on here...I like the dark blue one that Alexi Lalas has with the thick stripe across the middle. Basically the prequel to what they wear now, but I like the collar better. I also like the red ones that they wore for the "Don't Tread on Me" game right before the World Cup in '06. "Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up. It knows it must run faster than the fastest lion or it will be eaten. Every morning in Africa, a lion wakes up. It knows it must outrun the slowest gazelle or it will starve. It doesn't matter whether you're a lion or a gazelle. When the sun comes up, you'd better be running." - Unknown | Check out my articles on jerseys at Bacon Sports
ColeJ
the DTOM red shirt, and the white from the most recent world cup are my favorites.
harperdc
I like the white from before the '02 world cup - McBride has it on in the pic, and I think it's from the '98 campaign? - anyways, that, the DTOM jersey, and the current one are the best. The current set really should be the white/blue home with the DTOM red as alternate and the DTOM crest on both shirts.
pcgd
Don't Tread on Me all the way. If I can get my hands on an XXL of that I'll be VERY happy. 90 bucks seemed a bit steep when I saw it at Niketown around the world cup...alas I think it would have been worth it seeing the crap they are leaning towards now....Not that the new alt is anything short of awful...it did look better in use than just as a sales picture.Still terrible. AJM
The 95-97 kits (top right sported by Lalas) are by far the best they have worn, both the blue and white kits are solid during that campaign. The most recent blue kit have a bit of retro in them and are a very close second. Beantown77
I think I got almost all of 'em on here...You're missing the 99-00 Red Kit and the retro 1950 throwback worn against Norway...Personal faves are the 96 and 98 Nike sets (powder blue excluded).Personal collection contains the 90, 92, 93 and 94 Adidas jerseys and the 96, 98, 02 and 06 (DTOM) Nike jerseys... iowahoo
Gets my vote!I always liked this style, the white better than the blue, but the blue are nice as well. Reminds me a bit of a rugby shirt. I think I like it because they went from just having the US Soccer logo on the shirt to a proper badge.
Sport
The white from the last world cup is awesome. It's too bad that they didn't perform well in them because they could of become classics.

I think I like it because they went from just having the US Soccer logo on the shirt to a proper badge.I'll second this vote. I really loved this set (except the powder blue alt, anyway). They were crisp looking and could have become a signature kit for the US because they were unlike anything anyone else is/was wearing. I've also heard people say they looked too much like rugby jerseys, but I don't think the ruggers are entitled to a monopoly on horizontal stripes. Gothamite
I like the current whites - beautiful. The current set really should be the white/blue home with the DTOM red as alternate and the DTOM crest on both shirts.Amen. The DTOM crest is so much better than our backwards shield. The Green Bay Packers Uniform Database! Now in a handy blog.

gordie_delini
I definitely like the DTOM reds, and the current set from Germany the best. Nike was class all the way with everybody's kits in 06.

Saturn
What we have now + the DTOM reds. Should have kept that.
Brian in Boston
My personal favorites were:* The kit shown in the picture where Brian McBride is battling for a ball in the air and Ernie Stewart has his back to the photographer. (Second row, middle photo)* The kit McBride is wearing in the picture just below the aforementioned photo. (Third row, middle photo)* The '06 World Cup kits - excluding the "Don't Tread on Me" alternate - are a distant third.Bottom line? Simplicity wins out. Classic simplicity.Oh... and in my honest opinion, the Red "Don't Tread on Me" jersey would be helped immeasurably by either putting the Blue stripe on top of the White stripe, or - better yet - removing the sash altogether. As it exists, I find the DTOM jersey doesn't even warrant consideration.
Joely
The sash is awesome...definately the best shirt they've had...the number doesn't see to be in the right place though - maybe it should have intersected the sash (like the netherlands at WC06)?...great colours though...I don't think nike had a bad shirt at the world cup...the current european sets they've done are amazing too (says he in psg maroon away...beautiful).
