TBGKon
I took this idea from the RaysBaseball.com forums, and figured it would be a good idea for here. The rules are simple, rank the teams in all six divisions the way you believe the final standings will be. Scoring: * For each team you'll get points for the difference between the place you've predicted and the place the team finish. (If you have Rays on fourth place in AL East, and the finish fourth, you'll get 0 points. If Rays win the AL East, you'll get 3 points, |4-1|=3) * The goal of the contest is to get as few points as possible, (the contestant with the fewest points wins). * For tiebreakers, the winner is the one with most correct division winners, then second place teams and so on. In addition, you'll get a point subtracted for guessing the correct winner of the World Series and for naming the MVP, CY and ROY in both leagues. To participate, you have to post your predictions in this thread before opening day. Please use this thread for predictions only.

College sports as we know them are just about dead. The lid is off on all the corruption that taints just about every major program and every decision that the schools or the NCAA make is only about money, money, and more money. We'll have three 16+ team super-conferences sooner rather than later, killing much of the regional flair and traditional rivalries that make college sports unique and showing the door to any school that doesn't bring money to the table in the process. Pretty soon the smaller schools are going to have to consider forming their own sanctioning body to keep the true spirit of college sports alive because the NCAA will only get worse in it's excess from here
