In order for the Mets' run of 12 losses in 17 games to mean something, the Phillies still had to win 13 of 17.

PLAYOFFS

ALDS: (4) Anaheim v. (1) Detroit -- Detroit in 4; (3) Oakland v. (2) Toronto -- Toronto in 4

World Series: Toronto v. San Diego -- San Diego takes game 6 at Petco to win the Series.

And it pains me to write these predictions. I think that my Phillies could be one of the most talented teams in the National League. Too bad the ownership decided that it was a great idea to dust off the playbook of the '61-'62 Cubs instead of axing Uncle Charlie when they had the chance.

Stephen Drew's not eligible for ROY. The maximum for a 'rookie' is 130 ABs - he had 209. I had him as my pick as well at first.

The R.O.Y. award is a rather meaningless award, anyway. If I lose because of this tiebreaker, I'd say I did pretty well on prognosticating....
