gbasalmon
for what? From baseball-reference.com...In 2007 Jay Acton, long time executive under Miles Wolff, established a fourth New York State League set to begin in the summer of 2007 as an independent loop. The league consists of 4 teams representing Oneida, Rome, Utica and Herkimer NY. All games are held at Utica's Murnane Field.

Ah, Murnane Field -- former home of the Utica Blue Sox.A lot of minor-league parks in New York have lost their affiliates -- Utica, Albany-Colonie, Geneva ....Of course, if I had won that PowerBall a few weeks ago, I'd have bought two short-season teams and put one in Hoboken and one in Cooperstown.
