MJD802
Has anyone ever seen a turtleneck like this before? It looks like something a race car driver would wear to prevent an injury.http://cache.boston.com/bonzai-fba/Globe_P...243925_3801.jpg(I tried posting the picture)

FloPoErich
It kind of reminds me of what Yadi Molina wears, only not pulled up over his mouth...

sacker12
Andruw wore something like that last Saturday against the Mets. However, he had the hood pulled up. He looked like a ninja.
Schilly
I've seen several players wear one like that in cold weather in the past.

Don
best way to put it is...baseball players are warm climated creatures by nature.....anything to stay warm in the frozen tundra of fenway park is what theyre looking for. bravesfan
LaRoche, Jack Wilson, and chris Duffy all had those doofus lookin hats on the other day. Last season I distinctly remember Scutaro and I thought that Polanco for Detroit did it as well. Those are the dumbest looking things I've ever seen and if there is no rule against them there should be.

STL FANATIC
Here's Pujols wearing one of those a couple days ago:Molina was wearing one too.Yeah, and what I noticed from Pujols before the game started/when he was in the field and not batting, was that it definitely was one of the garments that wraps all the way over the head and ears showing just the face. But when he batted, he pulled it down just over his neck. Anyone know what the ruling is on something like this?It does have the correct cap logos, the prominent colors, and the MLB logo on the back. Looks like an acceptable part of the uniform to me.
