This happened after Kiprusoff got the hook after Detroit went up 5-1. In the short span, Mclennan slashed Johan Franzen twice in front of the net, and after the whistle took a two-handed swing at Maltby's torso. After all of this, Marcus Nilsson put yet another cheap shot in with about 20 seconds left. Will Calgary have anyone left on the bench for Game 6? Last I checked the Devils had better attendance than the Islanders (The Isles were dead last) and averaged about double the TV ratings than what the Islanders averaged.
